The Unit 8 seminar broadly focuses on “Quasi-experimental design”. Quasi-experimental design is broadly considered as one of the most effective experimental designs. According to Rogers & Revesz (2020), quasi-experimental design aims to establish a cause-and-effect relationship between the independent and dependent variable, which has been incorporated within the study. Quasi-experimental design is broadly regarded as one of the effective methods of experimental research design. This kind of research design is mostly suitable for testing casual hypothesis and examining the utility of interventions. The seminar video also highlights the major uses of quasi-experimental research design in various research perspective.
